Back to school is now less than a month away! These special events should be of interest before students return to their classrooms:

• Aug 5-7, Texas Sales Tax Holiday/Tax-Free Weekend,
  State-wide Pay no sales tax on selected items, back to school supplies;

  Free school supplies, food and entertainment;
