Butler Longhorn Museum Presents an Evening with “Donna B. The Ebony Cowgirl” on January 15th

Butler Longhorn Museum, located at 1220 Coryell St, League City, will begin their 2015 event schedule with a performance by Donna B. “The Ebony Cowgirl” on Saturday, January 15. A pre-show Social will begin at 6:30 pm; and performance will begin at 7 pm. Seating is limited; admission is $25 per person. Donna B, a native Texan, has been performing country music for 18 years. She sings all country music - from traditional to modern. Her sound has been described as a cross between Wynonna, Anne Murray, Terri Gibbs and Patsy Cline, with the energy of Tina Turner. She has received awards from several shows, including 6 time Female Vocalist of the Year and 3 time Entertainer of the Year. The following activities will be held: 10:30 am, Christmas Story in the Theater; 11 am, Coloring Contest; 11 am to 12 pm, Meet the Chic-fil-A Mascot and enjoy snacks; 12 Noon, Santa arrives via the Wells Fargo Stagecoach. Butler Longhorn Museum Hosts 2nd Annual Museum Morsel Madness One-Pot Cook Off Festival

Butler Longhorn Museum hosts their 2^nd Annual Museum Morsel Madness One-Pot Cook Off Festival on Saturday, March 22^nd. This event will be held from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. March 22 at 1220 Coryell St. in League City. Admission is $15.00 for adults and $5 for kids. Early Bird admission and general admission tickets are available at eventbrite.com.

The competition is open for both amateur non-restaurant cook teams and professional restaurant teams. The cook-off will be a battle to see who can make the best amateur dish and professional dish in one pot! Food tasting, craft beer and wine tasting, live music and food vendors round out this event.

Proceeds benefit the Butler Longhorn Museum, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring unique Texas history and cultural events to the Houston and Galveston area.
