Another Major Hospital System Selects League City as Location for New Center

On November 12, 2015, Memorial Hermann Houston, announced plans for its largest Convenient Care Center to be built in League City, Texas. (Press Release)

The 47,500 sq. ft. medical facility will be built in Pinnacle Park, a 100 acre mixed-use town center development, located south of Cabela’s (still under construction) along the Gulf Freeway. The freestanding facility will offer 24-hour emergency, on-site imaging, and lab services. Other components will include primary care, a breast center, physical therapy, and a multi-specialty care clinic. The project is expected to break ground in 2016 and open in 2017.

This announcement is just one of the latest medical facility news for Bay Area residents. The University of Texas Medical Branch, (UTMB), and University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center have either built or recently announced new clinics/centers, which is creating a new Medical Center Hub between Houston and Galveston.
