Opened, Coming Soon, and Closed – Bay Area Business Update – November 2016 Issue

The Bay Area is experiencing growth not only in new homes, but also in business. The lists below are retail/service businesses*, medical facilities, etc. that are now open, coming soon, on hold, or closed. We update this report at least once a month to keep you informed.

  • Gilley's Family Entertainment CenterConstruction starting soon on the La Porte Town Center; Some of the tenants signed up for Phase 1 are: Locked and Loaded Arms, Hamburgers by Gourmet, McCardell's Pub, Fashion District, Golf World, and Gilley's Texas Roasters; located adjacent to the Bay Forest Golf Course Completion projected by Fall 2017

  • Jason’s Deli – plans to build restaurant in League City at Bay Colony
  • Pollo Tropical – Baybrook Mall on the ring road next to Rooms to Go
  • Marais Restaurant – Cajun-inspired steak and seafood restaurant, 2015 FM 517, Dickinson
  • Blaze Pizza – 1507 West Bay Area Blvd, Webster Village
  • Churrascos – 1039 Bay Area Blvd, Webster; South American Steak & Seafood; February 2017 opening is projected

  • HealthSouth Hospital – 40-bed inpatient rehab hospital; located on the development of The Reserve at Shadow Creek Ranch at the intersection of Business Center Drive and Medical Center Drive; Pearland.
