The
60th Annual Village Fair & Texas Music Festival will be held on Friday, May 8
th through Sunday, May 11
th, at Walter Hall Park, located at 807 Highway 3 N, League City. The fair is coordinated by the League City Lions Club. Home Town Events from the past will be reintroduced during this year’s fair: Lemonade Booth, Dunking Booth, Bingo,
Business Expo, Fireworks, Village Fair Jail, and a community parade. The parade is to be held Saturday, May 10 at 9 a.m. and is to begin at the Crowder Funeral Services and League City Church of Christ parking lots (similar to the annual Holiday in the Park parade). The fire department is to participate in recognition of its 75th anniversary, and the police department has also been invited.
The Texas Music Festival is a family-friendly event with a special Kids Zone featuring more than 30
Carnival rides and Attractions. The
League City Lions Club is donating the
Mega Teen Night (Saturday, May 8
th) pre-sales to the 3 League City High Schools’ Project Graduation. A
Barbecue Cook-Off will be held on Saturday. The
Safari Run & Obstacle Course, supporting the Perry Family YMCA, will be held on Sunday, May 11
th.
The Texas Music Festival will feature the talents of Whiskey Myers, Roger Creager, and Spazmatic Band. For more information about the
